South Boston PD's first female lieutenant arrested for embezzlement
"Virginia State Police said Tiffaney N. Bratton, 49, was taken into custody last Tuesday and charged with one felony count of embezzlement and one felony count of embezzlement by an officer of public funds. SBPD Chief Bryan Young requested VSP investigate after discrepancies were discovered within the department's evidence room and inventory in the month of July 2021.... Meanwhile, Bratton has been terminated, effective last Wednesday, 'for cause.'
