- In May 2023, the Lynchburg City Sheriff's Office released these 462 pages of General Orders and policies in response to a public records request from OpenOversight VA. Sheriff Don Sloan noted that the following orders were not released: "(2.12) Courtroom Security", "(2.21) VIP Security and Special Events", and "(2.43) Active Shooter". The Office did not charge for this request.
